Jamorama Beginners Guitar Lessons
I first bought guitar lessons from Ben Edwards several years ago when he was pretty much starting out. He's come a long way since then and so has his Jamorama teaching material. I might not have included the original guitar course on this website, but I have no hesitation in recommending his current teach yourself guitar course, with its 148 videos and 44 lessons. And that doesn't include the extra learning material available, or the music games and software to help you learn. His guitar courses, which cover acoustic, electric and classical guitars, are fully downloadable in separate modules, which saves cluttering up your hard drive. Ben is a qualified teacher, good at what he does and he really will have you playing simple songs within the first five minutes of the first lesson. There is a forum where you can meet other students learning to play guitar, as well as online support for any musical questions you may have. Here are some sample lessons to give you some idea of the quality of the material.
